Cape Town Events in March 2011
In my listing of the Cape Town events in March you will find an events calendar with a listing of some of the best Cape Town events for the current month.
March is a wonderful month in the Mother City.
The temperatures are dropping slightly after the usually hot
Cape Town weather
in the summer months. The sky is more blue than ever and actually it is the best time in the year to travel to Cape Town and enjoy living in the Mother City.
The air is much cleaner too, when the breeze from the seaside starts to pick up again and we enjoy the splendid summer weather with a picnic on one of the gorgeous
Cape Town beaches
or heading for a weekend market to get great local crafts and some of the
freshest food in season
like the delicious figs. Yummy!
The evenings are often nice and balmy and you should make a plan to add in an outing to
Kirstenbosch Gardens
to listen to one of the great open air concerts. March is a month of great events and activities in the Mother City, like the Cape Argus Cycle Race, as you will see when you take a closer look at my Cape Town events in March.
And not to forget there is the wonderful long weekend with Human Rights Day which means the following Monday is a
public holiday.
