The top event early this month is definitely the Worldcup Final Draw in Cape Town for the Big Event of 2010, the Soccer Worldcup in South Africa. Lots of festivities are planned around the events and many tourists are already in the Mother City to enjoy our splendid summer months.
Then there are many other events you can enjoy while visiting or living in Cape Town.
The choice is big from colorful festivals to top sporting events, like the Volley Ball Challenge at Clifton Beach this month, to the many magical musical and dance shows, like the Cats Musical or the Sleeping Beauty Ballet.

• Stellenbosch, Spier Wine Estate. Festival of White Lights December 4, 2009. Stunning displays of artistic talents and performances. Tickets: R100/R60 for children under 12.
• Cape Town, On Broadway: 3 TONS OF FUN in SINGLE LADIES. December 3 – 31, 2009. Musical Show with lots of high energy hit songs, lots of fun and great constumes. Tickets R95.
• Cape Town, CTICC: Cape Town Worldcup Draw. December 4, 2009 at 5pm GMT. With the big Worldcup Draw party going on all over town, main party mile will be in Long Street with top South African music acts like Jimmy Dludlu and Freshly Ground.
• Bellville Velodrome: Homecoming Music Festival, December 5, 2009. With popular stars like Musiq Soul Child and Malaika. Tickets: From R195
• Cape Town:Emzantsi Festival. December 5, 2009. Celebrating people and cultures at the Southern Cape Peninsula. Parade at Kommetjie Road at 10am with Party at Sun Valley Mall from 12pm.
