Christmas Concerts in Cape Town

• Paarl, Laborie Wine Estate:Carols by Candlelight. December 9, 2011. Tickets: R50, children R20. With Night Market from 5pm.

• Durbanville Hills Wine Estate:Carols, Candles and Christmas Gifts. December 9, 2011. Concert under the stars. Tickets: R50 at webtickets.co.za

• Cape Town, V&A Waterfront: Christmas Choral Festival - Cape Town Brass Band. December 12, 2011. Free concert in the Amphitheatre at the Cape Town Waterfront. More info on this and other Christmas concerts at the Waterfront here.

• Cape Town, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens: Carols by Candlelight. December 15 - 18, 2011. These Cape Town Christmas concerts will present traditional Christmas carols presented by the Cape Town Concert Brass Band and the Cape Town Male Voice Choir. You can only purchase the tickets in advance at Pick n Pay Stores. Tickets: From R50, children from R30

• Somerset West, Vergelegen: Carols by Candlelight. December 16, 2011. Christmas concert on the lawns of the Vergelegen Wine Estate. Tickets: R30. Bookings through Helderberg Hospice one 021 852 46 08

• Cape Town, V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre: Christmas Choral Festival. December 16, 2011. Christmas Chorals with the Cape Town Gospel Choir. Enjoy this free concert from 18.ooh-19.00h in the Amphitheatre at the V&A Waterfront. More info.

• Stellenbosch, Oude Libertas Amphitheatre: I am dreaming of a Jazz Christmas. December 18, 2011. Picnic concert under the stars with award winning singer Melanie Scholtz. Tickets: From R120.

• Stellenbosch, Oude Libertas Amphitheatre: Carols, Crackers and Christmas. December 21 - 22, 2011. The annual Christmas concert with Richard Cock. Tickets: From R120.

• Cape Town, CBD: Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. December 24, 2011 at 17.30h in St. George's Cathedral
