In June there will be often a foggy start of the day, so take care when heading outside early, but usually the fog and clouds lift later in the morning, so clear sunny days are the norm even in winter.
Remember, Sunday 16 June is Youth Day, a public holiday, this will be celebrated also with a public holiday on Monday 17 June 2019. Sunday, 25 May is Africa Day, although not a public holiday, many museums in the city will be open to the public for free.
