Cape Town New Years Eve Celebrations

• Cape Town:  V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre Concert and Fireworks. 31 December 2018. Starts at 18h00. With fireworks at Midnight. Free entrance with lots of entertainment with live bands in four activity zones: earth, wind, fire and water. Parking is probably best in the Silo district or Breakwater Parking from Beach Road entrance. Quite busy and crowded, but what better start into 2019 could you wish for? More info.

• Cape Town, Newlands: Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens New Years Eve Concert 2018. Open air concert with Jeremy Loops and Crimson House in one of the city's most wonderful settings. Gates open at 19h00 on 31 December 2018 until 0h15 on 1 January 2019. Tickets are R415 for entry and concert. More info.

• Cape Town, Waterfront: African Grace - Cape Town New Years Eve Party 2018. Celebrate the beginning of the New Year at The Atlantic in Table Bay Hotel. Dinner, dance and entertainment. Starting at 18h00. Tickets: R3950. More info.

• Cape Town, Waterfront: African Tribe - New Years Eve Dinner 2018. At the Ballroom. Full buffet at the majestic Table Bay Hotel. Children Welcome. Starting at 19h30. Tickets: R3850. More info.

• Cape Town, Sea Point: New Years Eve Ball 2018. Celebrate the beginning of the New Year 2019 in style at Harvey's at the Winchester Mansions. Dinner, dance and entertainment. Starting at 18h30 with sundowners. Tickets from R1995. More info.

• Cape Town, V&A Waterfront: Cape Town Comedy Club - New Years Eve Party at the pump house.  From 21h00. Tickets: R450 includes show, welcome drink and a glass of bubbly for the countdown. More info.

• Cape Town, Waterfront: New Year Eve 'Wild at Heart' Celebrations. Party into 2019 at the One&Only Hotel with live food stations and entertainment. Tickets: From R2750. Tickets at One&Only reservations.

• Cape Town, CBD: Bubbles and Burlesque NYE. At Harrington's Cocktail Lounge from 19h00. Tickets: From R150 (Party only from 22h30) - R700 (incl dinner from 19h00) at Quicket. More info.

• Cape Town, Waterfront: Shimmy's New Years Eve Blue Marlin Ibiza Party 2018. Glitzy NYE Party at Shimmy Beach Club from 19h00. Tickets: From R750. More info.

• Cape Town, Table Mountain: Table Mountain New Years Eve. Enjoy a sunset ride on the last day of the old year before hitting the party scene in Cape Town. Please take note: the cable way closes at 21h30 on New Year's Eve. More info.

• Stellenbosch, Oude Libertas : New Year Eve Oldies and Party. The Concert with band and open dance floor will start at 16h00 and lasts until 0h30 on 1 January 2018. Tickets: R350 for adults. Great to take a picnic and listen to the music and see the popular movie 'Dinner for One'. More info.

• Barrydale, Klein Karoo: New Year's Eve Dinner and Party at the Karoo Art Hotel. Dinner from 19h00, with live entertainment by Irit Noble and countdown, Tickets: R595, children from 7-16 years: 50% of adult price. More info.
