Several concerts inCape Town’s City Centre with 12 great Live Bands start at 20.00h until 5a.m. Tickets at Computicket at R180 and R280. • Cape Town, Newlands: Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens New Years Eve Concert Open air concert with some of South Africa’s biggest stars in the most wonderful setting. Tickets are R220 for entry and concert. More info. • Cape Town, Camps Bay: New Years Eve at The Bay Hotel. One of the biggest parties along the Atlantic Seaside starting with Cocktails at 19.00h and following this there is a great show and a fabulous party at 4.00am. Children are welcome and looked after. Tickets: R80 at Computicket. • Cape Town, Cape Quarter: New Year’s Eve Party. Have a great start to the New Year at one of the most trendy spots in the Mother City. Starting at 7pm. With fire dancers and stilt walkers and great New Years Eve dining. Tickets from R385 depending on the restaurant. Other Cape Town New Years Eve Celebrations around Cape Town• Worcester, Breede River: Rock the River New Years Eve Party. This place is a bit further out of Cape Town (around 90mins.) but surely worth all the scenic drive. 13 top Cape Town bands will welcome 2010 on the Out of Africa Estate near Worcester. Camping is included in the ticket, but there is great accommodation in the area too. More info.• Franschhoek Valley:Rezonance New Years Eve Festival. Until January 2, 2009. Three day festival with loads of different music styles and bands on two stages in beautiful surrounding.
