The International schools also offer pre-school and kindergarten facilities at either the same premises or through one of their approved care centers.
With classmates from the own country, speaking the home-language a child acclimatizes faster and as the children often live in a nearby area your social life gets started as you meet other parents who have similar backgrounds and experiences.
Otherwise it is advisable to put your child in either a school offering teaching in your mother tongue or a English-medium school as this helps your child when your next move comes up again.

Application Fee: R850, Annual Capital Charge: R21.000
The Deutsche Internationale Schule/DSK Fees are as follows for 2010:
Tuition Fees R25.600/p.a. up to R27.100/p.a.
Application Fee: R300, Deposit: R3.000 refundable
The International School of Cape Town Annual Fees are as follows for 2010:
Tuition Fees R23.245/p.a. up to R60.589/p.a.
Registration Fees: R500/650, Placement Fee: R4.000/7.500 non-refundable, Deposit: R3.000 refundable
The Helderberg IES School Fees are as follows for 2010:
Tuition Fees from R15.900/p.a. up to R42.000/p.a.
Application Fee: R300, Registration Fee: R3.500 non refundable,

In most of the schools siblings discounts are possible.
And please remember some schools in Souths Africa ask for a fee when writing acceptance letters for your study permit application.
At some schools also seperate fees will be added to your school bill for after-school care as some schools include full day tuition and some only offer morning classes.
