Christmas in CapeTown

Christmas in CapeTown means Christmas in summer with blue skies and some wind and lots of sun to enjoy the great outdoors and the many attractions of the Mother City.

V&A Waterfront Cape Town as seen from Signal Hill

This gorgeous picture of Cape Town's V&A Waterfront was taken yesterday on Christmas Eve on Signal Hill.

And the new Cape Town Stadium in Greenpoint is finished and looks great from above as well as you can see here in this photo which was also taken on December 24, 2009 from Signal Hill.

Christmas in South Africa also means relaxed family gatherings, long walks and picnics on white sandy beaches and sumptuous feast in the garden or one of the lovely Wineland Estates.

Here is a view of Table Mountain which we took on our beachwalk on Christmas Day at Sunset Beach near Blouberg.
