Cape Town Events in July 2011

Wine by CarloszK sxc.hu Do you want to know about great Cape Town events in July?

This year's winter school holidays are around the corner, so you will find here great events for the whole family. There are many great music shows and dance and arts festivals taking place in July, so you might have a tough choice to decide between all the great events taking place in July in the Mother City.

Nutcracker in Cape Town

Maybe you want to go and see "The Nutcracker" with your children? Or take a walk when the sun is out and watch the waves? Simonstown and Kalk Bay as well as Blouberg are our favorite places where you can enjoy rough winter days and take a stroll along the sheltered walkways of many boutique shops and art galleries in Main Street or the beachfront.

Oyster by Dominik Morel sxc.hu Then there are also all those great festivals, like the splendid Oyster Festival in Knysna.

And if you ever wondered if there is snow in Cape Town, I can tell you that there may be no snow in the city, due to its seaside location, it can still feel quite chilly and you can see snow on the higher grounds near Cape Town especially around Ceres and the Overberg Region. So if you long for your kids to be able to touch some real snow, take them out to Matroosberg and let them enjoy the white wonder.

So take a look at my listing of great events in Cape Town and have a wonderful time in Cape Town.
