Cape Town Events in July 2010
Do you want to know about great Cape Town events in July? Well, the World Cup is one major event, but there is much more going on in the Mother City of South Africa. Here you will read whats on in Cape Town in July 2010, the most exciting events happening in the Mother City. Well, and this year's winter school holidays are especially long, so you will find here great events for the whole family.
In July 2010 there is not only
World Cup
going on but also winter holiday time in Cape Town, so everything in town will slow down a bit, a lot of roads will be closed off for traffic. That is especially great if you have got kids or want to take everything at a slower but more happy pace as the Cape is splendid in the wetter winter months too.
Have you ever seen the crushing waves of the Ocean from the comfort of a seaside coffee shop?
Simonstown and Kalk Bay are my favorite places where you can enjoy rough winter days and take a stroll along the sheltered walkways of many boutique shops and art galleries in Main Street. And then there are all those great festivals, like the splendid Oyster Festival in Knysna.
So take a look at my listing of great events in Cape Town and have a wonderful time in Cape Town.
